Your problem is that getCommand returns null unless there is something under 'commands' in plugin.yml

I've been here for a year (two now? Idk) and the staff keeps getting bigger, but the amount of work and effort put it is just as much as before....
Although it has to stay private, you can override any method, even if it's private static....

Take a look at Remote Toolkit (And SpaceBukkit!)
Just a heads up: plugin.yml doesn't always have permissions in them. Some plugins generate them dynamically. Other than that, good luck :)
