Inactive [ADMN / SEC] Protect Block. Protect the Blocks you place. [1.4.2]

Maybe this will clear things up, my issue isn't with JailLikeHell or STAB (Both had severes on the CMD line)

My issue is that Protect Block loads the config file and then the server stops loading things, here is a copy of the CMD line from the server when ONLY ProtectBlock is installed.

This error has been caused because the Java Virtual Machine has run out of memory. You can increase the amount of memory available to the Java Virtual Machine by launching it using

java -Xms2048m -Xmx2048m -jar 'path to server' to launch it.

I understand your reasoning behind this suggestion, but I could see that this feature could become quite irritating if you want to build with other people. But, if other people want it then I can add this feature.

Well isn't this already taken care of? The friend system would allow collab, and you could always just turn protecting off. It could be default radius set to zero so server owners dont have to fret with it if they dont want it.

So I increased the RAM and you're right, it let's it load but I then realised that PB must be using a lot of RAM, I went in and checked the plugin folder and in FRIEND-SAVE there is some really big files that need loaded with the server, 90MB save files... My own save is only 350kb so how is some of my users getting up to 90MB save files?

Seems like the permissions dont work! Tried everything! Im using Essentials Groupmanager if that helps

protectblocks is always enabled when you log on, even tough i disabled it

Only since the update to R3.0 this mod has become very resource hungry. Using all four cores of my AMD Phenom II X4 965 3.4GHz processor. This occurs when the server opens the config file upon start-up and occurs again shortly after, even with no users on my server. This continues until the server crashes.
As I've said, this problem is quite new and I've never noticed it before I started up my server yesterday. Am I the only one having a problem like this?

Great Plugin. Can you please make it so other people cant place things on the blocks that you place? This way griefers cant place lava and other things in your house.

Your permissions don't work >.< I want people to donate, but everyone is default to having access to block protection.

I assume that you have a lot if experience with plugin permissions and bukkit servers, so the option that I can give you is to go into the ProtectBlockV1.2.jar and edit the plugin.yml so that (under permissions) the ProtectBlock.ProtectBlock-On (and off) default is set to false not true.

No, only the original would be protected. (read earlier post).

EDIT: Please ignore this. It wasn't apparent that the command was /protectblock-help instead of /protectblock help. Might want to work on the docs a little.

I mean its a great plugin but everytime i try to place a block people can still destroy it! when the other player destroys it. it pops up "fgshzogh111"! on the chat! And yes. i turned on the protection. it stands the blocks you place will now be protected!

Make sure that you are using the latest version of Protect Block, it sound like you might be using version 1.1. Also, if you're config goes weird, you can delete it and Protect Block will generate another one.

URGENT!!!
When I protect my blocks and see with the wooden pickaxe, it says that the block is mine, but when I close the server and the re-open it, I lose all my block protection, and I use /save-all when close the server.
The plugin isn't saving the blocks...
Create some kind of MySQL database or something....
PS: Some blocks are saved when the server is new, but after some time it stop saving, idk why.

Oh one more thing, try to do this:
Other players can't build on protected blocks!
This would be perfect, because some players are putting blocks on other players houses!
