Inactive [ADMN/SEC] Regios v5.0.01 - Advanced Region Management! + Multi-World, Protection + More![1.0.1-R1]

Sorry didn't mean to post that last post.
I downloaded it yesterday and it was working quite well. But there was no Regios help, and if you type something wrong nothing at all came up and when I walk into a region it doesn't tell me that I just did it only tells me when I go out.

I've updated the economy section on the wiki. There should be a setting in your GeneralSettings.config called 'UseEconomy' set that to true. If its not there you can add it by adding UseEconomy: true under the Region section. And please let me know if it isn't there.

Have you tried the wiki? Or /regios help ingame? You could have the welcome message disabled, have you tried /regios show-welcome <regionname> true?

I have had a few issues setting up regions and the wiki page doesn't cover the topic very well. I'd like to set up a few regions where non-ops are not allowed to place or break blocks. I made one region and added the protect-bb and protect-bp protections, and it seems that others are still able to place/break blocks within the region. Is there a better way to test that the region is properly set up? One suggestion to look into is to add a command that will show the region (mark it off inside a box of a colored block kind of like in mobarena) for a few seconds to verify that it covers everything.

How do i fix this: I can get the plugin and 99% of everything on the plugin to work besides for one simple thing, other people can build and destroy blocks in my region areas even after I use /regios protect <regionname> and /regios expandmax <regionname> etc. and yes, I saved the region, but some reason other people can break and place blocks in the "protected" area. I looked in the server console and got no errors, does this have something to do with the other plugins I have downloaded that are some how interfering with the regios plugin or permissions or something else. Honestly, I don't know a lot about permissions and plugin related things so i can't narrow down the problem without knowing what I'm looking for... Thanks.

Have you tried /regios protect-bb [regionname] and /regios protect-bp [regionname]? Bb being block break and bp being block place. If you want to protect, protect-bb, and protect-bp all with one command, use /regios protect-all [regionname].

That's correct. Unless you've added a player as a sub-owner or as an exception. Or if someone has OP.

Edit: I read your comment again, and that message means no one can break blocks in your region. To prevent placing blocks you also need to use the protect-bp command as well.

In the 10 minutes prior to the first time this showed up, had you created, deleted, or renamed a region? If created, what was the name of the new region?

You're a busy guy, lol. Check plugins/Regios/Database for folders with all those names. If they all exist, look in the log folder inside each of those folders and make sure they all have logs. Judging by the error at least one of them should be missing.

If i can, how do i set more than one owner to a region.(Sub-Owner) Do i just overlap a region with another region so that their are two regions with different owners but that can both build in the same area? Thanks

You would use /regios add-sub-ex [regionname] [playername] to add a sub-owner to region

Ah, I see the issue. You didn't happen to edit the subowners in the region config manually did you?

Hmm, in the config for whatever region you are trying to add the sub-owner to, look for the SubOwners: setting. If there are no sub-owners it should look like SubOwners: ' ' If the quotes aren't there, add them in and reload Regios and try adding a sub-owner again.

I was wondering if anyone could help me figure out how to change how large a player can "set" and area, because right now the width they are allowed to go to is O therefore they cant really protect anything..

Hello, I have a few questions about regios.

# 1 you write "Add Non-cuboid region support" - this is already possible with the version v5.0.38? and if so - how?

# 2 if I create a region with "Prevent Entry: true," and a player wants to enter them, then it will be automatically transported to a point at which he has recently warped (xWarp). Can I change this so that they are only 3-5 blocks pushed away?

and a few more, but these have no functional teleport or warp.

1. No, non-cuboid regions are not finished yet.
2. Hmm, that's interesting. It's supposed to only push them back to the last place they were before they entered the region (which is usually only one or two blocks outside the region, assuming they didn't teleport in). xWarp must be interfering with the push back and thinks the player is trying to warp. I would have to say the issue lies with xWarp, not Regios.

And what item do I use to set the two points?

One Youtube video says gold pickaxe and another gold axe. The item ID in the config file set to 217.
