temp bans are only timed bans, why would they need to request an unban?

updated mcbans to 2.6.7 with some major additions and bug fixes, mcbans premium will be coming out sometime next week.

no there is not an option with permissions plugin and I don't want to add it, new permissions system will be coming from bukkit.

@Firestar , Does this take much resources or is it pretty light? Does it let the user on or first check the database then let the user on?

server owner cannot be banned from their own server, its written into the code to prevent that on both sides client and server.

resource usage is low, yes on login, and daily backups just in case mcbans goes down (has not happened yet).

The only reason I asked is because while testing the plugin my friends were helping me test my new server and they banned me as a joke.

the command isnt working when i type it im typing it like this: /kick fred griefing
what am i doing wrong no matter how many variations i try it tells me "/kick (playername) [reason]

just read someone elses post i am the server owner so that might be why

They are all the same person, he seems intent on destroying everything he possibly can and aggravating users at the same time. Just a heads up

Have you entered your API key in the config file correctly?

Dont you have to flag G or L for Global Or Local Ban?

1. I am an admin with '*' permissions. I can /ban but not /kick (I get permission denied from mcbans)
2. My ops have
- 'mcbans.kick'
- 'mcbans.view_ban'
- 'mcbans.unban'
- 'mcbans.tempban'
- 'mcbans.ban.local'
- 'mcbans.ban.global'
None of them can /ban or /kick (they get permission denied from mcbans)

I see a lot of other people have this problem too, please add some debug code if you can't figure out where the problem is. Then atleast we can report some useful info and perhaps get a solution... :-/

same, no luck getting it to work either, had to manually ban someone via console yesterday, not fun as he griefed quite a bit before i got him banned

I got banned players coming back now my mcbans is down with latest recommended build.
Cant find an old Craftbukkit version that works with Mcbans and although the plugin says its running its not (most are doing this).

This going down combined with LWC and WorldGuard leaves the server wide open,

so I look forward to the next update

yes, working to resolve this issue, do not use the recommended craftbukkit.
