I want to be able to set an area up as an Archery Zone. Some of these ideas are based on like how War works and you should try the War plugin if you havent to get a better understanding how some of this would work. When players join the zone/game they get a bow with a full set of arrows. Players will be forced to into a walking area that is configurable by the zone maker. Players will not be able to leave the walking zone till the game is over or till they leave. Its basically to allow them an area to move around and shoot and could be configured so their walking space is only 1 block big. A target would be a wool block of a specific color for each player which through commands would allow the zone maker to set each players/teams color. When a Wool block is hit by an arrow it gives a point to the respective shooter and then moves the target to a new location within the zone. There could be only 1 target at a time or their could be many and this would be settable through a command. (I would sure enjoy multiple targets) The archery zones can be team vs team or 1 on 1, of course it would be all configurable. Some of the different games could be: 1. Time Attack: Players with the most points after a set amount of time (Each archery zone can be pre-configed with their own time attack limits) will win. 2.Target Attack: Players to hit a configurable amount of targets first wins. 3. DeathMatch: Players shoot the opponent's color wool to deal 1 heart worth of damage to their opponent. Players that shoot their own wool heal 1 heart. 4. Score Attack: Since targets could vary in distance from the player, the game would be able to detect the distance between the player and wool block and give points based on range. Players to get to the score limit wins. 5. Tug-O-War: Based on the Donkey Kong Country 3 minigame with the targets, there is a limit that both players must reach, BUT when 1 player scores a point the other player loses a point and vice versa. The only way to win is to make points faster than your opponent.
Private? How do you mean? Just for my server? If thats so, that would be nice, but I would rather you make it public so you can be more noticed.
Ive got a Paintball plugin im trying to get finished and add to atm, then ill work on this little by little while I work on other projects
I look at your ideas, however what you are suggesting is hours and maybe days of work. Especially as the only thing I am not good at is configuration files and large block locations (both of which this require)
True, but its not like they have to made and finished right now. Could be more of a side project, or something to do. What I really want is some feedback on some of my ideas. I rarely get any feedback. After all, the more people that say variations of "oh this plugin looks badass" the better the chance someone will step in and say "Oh ya I could make this, just give me awhile"
