Bukkit.org TAKES FOREVER TO LOAD

When i try to gon Bukkit on my home computer IT TAKES AGES TO LOAD. IS my Ip banned or something?
Please help me @TnT or anyone else please

Do you have access to command prompt? If so, could you please open it up and type in "tracert www.bukkit.org" for me, without the "'s, and then post the result.

I'm also expieriencing high loading times since a few weeks.
Especially on the home page, after cache has been cleared. (always loads longer then average site)

Yup, it's banned, that's why you CAN connect. And don't type in all caps, I picture you like a little kid when you do, and I haven't experienced the problem, neither has anyone else, so I don't think you needed to make a thread in this forum.

I have never recalled you as a admin also u don't know my ip so don't say such silly stuff when u don't know my ip

Maybe they've enabled this Xen feature, I think it was "annoy" or something

Do you know how a ban system works? Let me explain. If you were IP banned you couldn't connect, but here you are, connected, so you obviously aren't IP banned. See? No IP knowledge needed, just common sense.

It IS possible he is IP banned on his home network, but not the public library.

Common sense, if he was IP banned, chances are his account would be also. Is it? No, I figured people would infer that.

Not always. The staff here are nice enough that if he flooded (for example) from 1 IP, they would ban the IP. If he kept flooding, then they would ban the account.

But likely the cause of the OP's slowness is the browser having a large, uncleared, cache or the computer is generally slow.

I think if someone did something bad enough to get IP banned, they would ban the account. Anyways. Did you consider his internet connection? He never pinged it, or did speedtest results, so we can only assume.

I'm not going to argue any further on what the OP -COULD- have done...

There are millions of scenarios where either the OP could have done something, the Bukkit team, his ISP, or anyone else (including the neighborhood dog) that could interfere with the connection to the website. For all we know, it was a one time event.

You can't argue that he has one if he is:
1. actively helping you
2. Aware, most likely on his home network, using his IP.
3. If he IS IP banned, then why aren't you? I've never seen anything but helpful stuff from him
4. You said youre not, so why is he?

You are not IP banned otherwise you would not be able view this page. It is fairly simple. Please stop trying to act like you know something that you do not know.

Archelaus was attempting to help you with your issue at the top of the thread, and you completely ignored what he told you to do. If you want help, you are going to have to listen to somebody.

XenForo comes with user "discouragement" and it is loads of fun. xD It gives false error pages and ridiculous load times, randomly logs them out and all sorts of funny stuff.

So anyone else use the library for the fast internet too?

I did do ping Bukkit.org and it could connect with no fail but i dont know why it still cant load it. How can i change my External IP Address. That might be the problem

Ok i did this. I rang up Virgin Media. They said unplug the white big cable from yuor modem for a couple of hours. They said this will chaneg the external ip. IT DID NOT. it changed the IPV4 addreess like i told them before i did it. Also i have a dynamic IP setting
