Inactive [CHAT/ADMIN] DChatCleaner V0.5 - Simple Chat Cleaner [1.2.5-R1.2]

    Description:

    If someone spaming, server advertises or else you can clear chat with command /dcc, also you can edit messages to display when chat is cleared in config file. Also in 0.5 version u can clear the chat for a player with command /dccp[PlayerName]. Also player can clear the chat for yourselfs with /docc.

    Features:

    Clear the Chat for all players.
    Clear the Chat for just youself.
    Clear the Chat for selected player.
    Display Custom Messages.

    Permissions/Commands:

    DChatCleaner.ClearChat - Default OP - Allows player to clear the server chat.
    DChatCleaner.OClearChat - Default OP - Allows player to clear chat for yourself.
    DChatCleaner.PClearChat - Default OP - Allows player to clear chat for another player.

    /dcc - Clears the server chat.
    /docc - Clears the chat for sender of command.
    /dccp [PlayerName] - Clears the chat of selected player.

    ChangeLog

    Version 0.5:
    Added command /dccp <PlayerName> to clear chat for player.
    Permission for /dccp is DChatCleaner.PClearChat
    Fixed permission for /docc
    Added new messages on config file for /dccp, you can also edit these.
    When player clears the chat he receive a success message.

    Version 0.4:
    Changed command cc to dcc
    Changed command occ to docc
    Added permission for docc(occ) - DChatCleander.OClearChat
    Changed default text, some general changes.

    uhm :/ can you modificate this plugin... when player type /cc only clear own chat, not chat all players

    mhm Permission DChatCleaner.ClearChat is same for /cc and /occ ? :confused: bad idea..

    I like it! Except that I wish it didn't have to be a huge blank space in the logs, although I understand that it's probably a bit too much of a hassle to worry about that. My main concern with it is really that if you decide you want line 2 or 3 to be blank that it'll go back and advertise the default text that you've set. Would it really be too much trouble to remove that? ^-^

    add a message when you use the command (cnage enable and the message on config)

    This is a sorta plugin Im looking for theres just one thing missing, Could you make a command that you can sorta disable the chat for the time being, so if a group of ddosing spammers come onto your server you can disable chat for all, but obviously you'll beable to talk through ./say or ./broadcast
    e.g
    ./ccdisable
    ./ccenable

    Something like that :D

    Nice! I notice that this is a lot like my plugin Chat Clearer, even uses the same commands (more or less). But, I'm not accusing you of copying me, just pointing out a coincidence. :)

    Bookmarked this, would definitely look into if you made it so that you could disable chat for a certain time period, such as
    /ccdisable
    /ccenable
    That would be very useful.
