It's working now , is there any way to make any color only able to be chosen by a specified group?

"/colorme list" will show you.

Groups aren't supported yet. But may be in the next update.

I'm not really sure. All I can say for sure is "when I have the time". I'm going to be moving pretty soon as well as working, so I don't really have any more "free" time to dedicate to plugins until I'm finished moving.

D: It was working fine for me the other day... When I deleted Essentials from my server. But today again the color isn't showing in the chat (And it's showing in other places like /vips list, /admins list or /members list)

Do you know what could be the reason of the color doesn't changing? I gave colorme.list and colorme.self with PEX 1.15 to all groups except Members (I don't want Members being able to change color, only VIPs), so I think there is no problem with that. There's not any prefix/suffix with any plugin... so IDK.

Anybody give me ideas because this plugin is important for my server and I don't know what to do... :S

I have an idea of what's wrong, and the next version will hopefully fix this problem.

I found the problem... It seems to be not compatible with ChatManager (PEX addon for prefixes and suffixes), this is the config file of ChatManager:

Do you know any way I can fix it? Only admins have prefixes, but even without having prefixes ChatManager bugs the name of people without pref/suffixes... and it's always white.

If not, do you know if you can fix it in the next version? Or do you know any way I can have prefixes and suffixes with ColorMe?

(Using %online variable with MCDocs for example, the player list appears with the colornames, but when someone writes anything in chat, the name is white...)

I just looked through the code and I suggest bringing it up to them because currently there's no way for me to work around it. It changes the message instead of the displayName like I do, so they override any changes I could make. You'd have to stop using ChatManager in order to use ColorMe, or like I just said, tell them to change how they make the plugin handle prefixes, etc.

The only other alternative I can see is maybe I can add a config option to toggle between editing the displayName and directly changing the chat message so I can change anything previous plugins do to the chat message. Once I get everything else in place for the update, I'll add that in and try testing it out.

OK man! I just deleted ChatManager and installed iChat. The plugin works successfully with prefixes, as I wanted! Thank you, and this plugin is working fine. If it doesn't work to someone it's because it collides with any other plugin.

I've never messed with Spout.

At the moment, no. I'm not quite sure how I'd do that exactly anyhow, since the players name would have to be long enough to have at least one character one color. A single character can't have more than one color.

When players do the: /who, will the names be coloured?

I don't think so. I don't know how they grab the names. If it's just done via player.getName(), then no. If they do player.getDisplayName() then yes.

please make a plugin where you can make the default colour of the chat either with, for eg. /setdefaultcolour or a config so EVERYONE chats in that colour that has been specified!

A good chat plugin should allow that (with something like &6 or §2). This plugin is for the name only!

I would like to know how to get the colors to stay when the server is stopped whenever i log back on my colorr is gone
