Plugin category: World Generator / Role Playing Suggested name: ChestItemPicker What I want: A very simple plugin, but game changing... A plugin where you can change all of the chests in Dungeons, and also MineShafts... A plugin where you can mange what items can be given through dungeons and Ruins via Chests... Since the 1.5 Update there are now Mine Carts with chests that spawn in MineShafts... They will have the same affects that the other two Chests have... As there are other things such as Jungle Temples and Desert Temples... I would like if I am able to change what spawns in those chests also... As some of you who are reading this may think it would be hard to config this... It really wouldn't be if the plugin developer would create it such as I would like it... Code: MineShaft Chest: Diamond '1-2' # The '1-2' means you've a chance of one or two diamonds spawning in that given chest. Iron '1-4' 25% # Now the 25% means you have a 1/4 of a chance of Iron spawning in that given chest. 1 '1-7' 25% # Instead of using the Name of the items, you can also use the ID's of the item... Planks:1 '1-9' 25% # You can also use the Sub ID of a given Item... Such as Plank:1 For Spruce Planks, and Plank:2 for Birch Planks... # All of the other chests would be simularly set up like this also, although in the config, on the first load up, there should be all of the default items the currently spawn in the chests... MineShaft CartChest: Jungle Temple: Desert Temple: Dungeon: Ideas for commands: No commands needed for this plugin. Ideas for permissions: No Permissions are needed for this plugin... When I'd like it by: Before Monday.
And how is the programmer suppose to differentiate a Mineshaft chest from a jungle temple chest from a desert temple chest from a dungeon chest from a normal chest?
I just thought cause different things spawn in all of them... Like... You never seen a Disk spawn in a Temple of Mineshaft.... But in Dungeons... So I just thought there were some coding for each one of those chests. Anyone interested? Bump... EDIT by Moderator: merged posts, please use the edit button instead of double posting.
That's not gonna happen. I am guessing noone is responding because this is not "a very simple plugin".
This is a plugin where you need to know what you are doing, this is one of those plugins that dives deeper into the minecraft code, this can't be done by just using the API, you really need somebody with brains for this one
