Yeah, I figured out that the problem was spout, they patched this in one of their DEV builds, thanks for the attempted help though.

Ok, this build crashed too much.
The server just stopped without any errors and start it again.
So, I got nice rollback, so my players crying for their items, etc.

I think there is memory leak problem but.. don't know.

    With R1.0 I didn't have any problems.

So, I'll downgrade to R2.0 and I hope my server will stop crash. :S

This is without the Jline command in console.

Yes,that is the case. The Spoutcraft relines messages. It will double post.

It is probably a buggy server connection. Try getting more RAM to elimate that. It also might be the cause of a false console alarm. Also, sorry Bukkit for double posting :(

That is very common to see when your server is on a number of server lists. If the server list uses a php script to query your server, you will see those lost connection messages.

I was talking about the disconnect end of streams
It's disconnecting everyone on my server, and frankly, R3.0 is a horrible build, downgrading like everyone else

    Everyone else you say?
Hope you don't include me in "everyone" then, because i'm using it without a single problem (except for the colors in console being gone, but i'm not in console much anyway) and i have no idea what you are talking about.

Check out my server (in my signature or derpnet.nu) and you'll see it working just fine.

My server is ranked 480 on the minestatus list, and always have at least 5 people on, comparing your server to mine, is absurd.

The end of stream issues are likely caused by your networking, or plugins. I bet if you remove your plugins, and/or fix your networking issues, the end of stream issue will go away.

If build 2203 (R3.0) actually stopped people from logging in, we would not have promoted that to an RB. If it somehow did manage to make it through, it would have been noticed and fixed already. Since we cannot reproduce that issue, my first statement stands.

Well, considering some of the bugs that slipped through into an RB before, it is plausible :p

    Nope, this is my RUN.bat:
    @Echo OFF
    SET BINDIR=%~dp0
    CD /D "%BINDIR%"
    "%ProgramFiles%\Java\jre6\bin\java.exe" -Xincgc -Xmx10G -jar craftbukkit-1.2.5-R3.0.jar --log-limit=10000 -nojline
    PAUSE

(Command in red with underline) And I do not use spout.

yeah, i'm noticing some pretty dramatic changes in the resource consumption from the server. I could have about 20 or so people on the server before r3 while the server was saving, and saving only took about 10 seconds, max. Now, saving is taking about 30 seconds, and even if there's only 1 person online, they are kicked due to server timeout...
when i revert to r2, things are fine again.

I'd give more detailed info, but i'm using a MC host, instead of just generic 'host' :/

can you make an RB that has a colour chat plugin built in?, the permissions for the colour plugin could be in the permissions.yml file, this would be a great feature to add :)

We feel a plugin (or many, competing plugins) can accomplish that much better than we can. Hence we will leave it to the community to provide such awesome features.

yeah, but, color chat should really be a default in the RB's, because chat color helps people recognize admins to mods and users, and color chat plugins can sometimes not work like they should, i had trouble with it quite a lot, it doesn't really matter to me too much, but for some it could be a helpful feature.

:( I had to roll back to R 2.0 - 3.0 appears to be using more resources, and my service that I rent apparently can't handle it - was getting lots of these errors and the system was sluggish
Can't keep up! Did the system time change, or is the server overloaded?
Rolling back to 2.0 appears to fix it.

That would most likely be an issue with your plugins. Make sure they are updated. If you believe this to be an issue with CraftBukkit itself, please provide benchmarks and profiling for your system between R2.0 and R3.0. It is best to profile this without plugins to get a clean comparison.

Same here, and I am talking about the "lost connection" rather than the disconnect.endOfStream. And no, on my server the IPs are not from server lists; when I first saw it I checked the logs to see where these IP addresses were coming from and they're all my players IPs that they've logged in with before.

Yes, that happens. I've noticed this occurs at times when the player opens their server list, as the client will poll the server.

Ok, that makes sense. How come this never happened before RB3?

Also, I just downgraded to RB1 and I'm still getting loads of connectivity issues ("end of stream", "took too long", you name it). I can't even connect to my own server and I'm on the same LAN as it. I would assume there must be something wrong with the minecraft.net servers, right? Otherwise downgrading to RB1 would fix my problems.
