I have Java build 1.6
Windows 7 32bit I believe since Java is 32bit
Yes that's right
so don't you get a command prompt window opening up? You should, I don't know why it wouldn't come up. You can try going into your craftbukkit folder (C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Roaming\.CraftBukkit\) and double-clicking on CraftBukkit Starter.bat
See if that works
I've already tired that, nothing happens still
Nevermind, apparently it wasn't running as Administrator, I just tried that and now it works
Sorry then, try installing it again, if it still doesn't work I will post an older version which may work
Thanks for pointing out that it has to be run as admin
Well now that I got it running, how am I supposed to change the server properties? Because I can't change which world it loads in and I can't even find the world that it loads in the first place. For some reason changing anything in the server properties doesn't do anything.
The world it loads is called "world" and is in the folder where craftbukkit was installed. To change the world u want it to load , copy the world you want into the craftbukkit folder and change the world name in server.properties to match the name of your one.
There is no world folder in the craftbukkit folder, it's the exact same as when I first installed it, and like I said, changing the world in server properties doesn't do anything.
Run the server once, let it load fully and it should create everything including the world
I've let it run at least 5 times now, the world folder only shows up after I uninstall it
what do i do after i install it? do i try to connect to my server?
Set it up as you would set up a normal minecraft server
Okay can you post any errors you get when running it
There are no errors, it just doesn't show up the files or folders that it created when it first ran. It looks exactly the same as when I first installed and didn't run it.
alright i got it working and i transferred the old world to bukkit. Is it possible to enable fly in bukkit? sorry im new
You will need a flying plugin but yes you can
Try this older installer http://www.mediafire.com/?nq4253dgkx751rp
Sorry but I'm not able to guess exactly what's wrong but it seems there's something wrong with your pc setup
okay I downloaded the fly plugin. What do i do with it now? Once again i'm sorry for being an idiot
