CraftBukkit for Minecraft 1.0.1 is now available!

A new CraftBukkit Recommended Build (1.0.1-R1) with Minecraft 1.0.1 support is now available. This build contains some API additions, but is mostly a stable Minecraft 1.0.1 compatible CraftBukkit. We'll most likely have another RB in the near future with new things for developers to play with.

As always, please backup your server before updating, just in case. Please note: for those of you who are considering generating a new world for Minecraft 1.0.1, one of the newer snapshot builds for Minecraft contains tweaks to the world generator that could mean you may have to regenerate your world or only new chunks will see the tweaks in effect.

Will plugins break with this build?
Provided the developers of the plugins you are using are keeping up with the development of Bukkit, all your plugins should work fine.

right thanks alot i thought mabey they would of added the eggs in minecraft 1.0.1 due to it being bukkit 1.0.1 lol

This CraftBukkit is for Minecraft 1.0.0; Minecraft server 1.0.1 is its base.

Please can you help me I tried to update my bukkit server to 1.1 but it said "Unable to access jarfile craftbukkit-1.0.1-R2-Snapshot.jar" What do I do?

Has the update come out for Minecraft Client 1.0.1 yet? I am running a server with the 1.0.1.jar snapshot and I've had players saying they can't get in on the new updated minecraft with the enchant bows (1.0.1) Please update soon! Thanks!

There is no RB of CraftBukkit for MC 1.1. There is only 1.0.1 at this time. You need to remind your players that when ever there is a MC update, to wait and not update until the server is updated. If they do update, good luck finding a way to downgrade.

Recommend SpoutCraft for your users SpoutCraft adds lots of cool performance fixes, some graphics improvements, and also the ability to downgrade (you can choose what MC Version you want, down to Beta 1.8.1).

We enforce the user of spout and spout craft on my server for security (example why linked in signature). I recently found out about the up and downgrading just yesterday while tinkering. >.>

You can grab the RB for 1.0.1 from here, and a dev (non recommended) build for 1.1 from here
