Great to hear this is done, I bet you worked harder on this software then Notch did with the default server software as it crashes plenty. So the brings me to ask, did you fix the issues that would cause the default server software to crash? If so, excellent work!

I've held back from using the dev builds and waited for the RB... seems ironic that as soon as its finally ready, Mojang decide to release another patch!

Both 1.7.x and 1.8.x releases were very badly timed for the Bukkit team... just goes to show how cutting edge these guys are when even they are surprised by a release, considering they have been known to have an RB uploaded within 6 hours of a new MC release. I just hope that the timing is better from now on!

Good work, I won't be updating my server just yet, preferring to continue building my new server world in SSP before copying it over to my server. Gives me time to do as much as possible before getting CB for 1.8.2 (when its ready!).

To be honest I don't think it'll be too long before 1.9 is ready, either. Both Notch and Jeb have been posting lots of screenshots of things they have added, all of them from 1.9. And its already been noted that a lot of the changes made in 1.8 were designed to make it easier in the future, so the gaps between releases should become shorter and shorter. 1.8 is only half of the "Adventure Update".
