Inactive [DEV] SpoutPlugin - Unleash the flow of endless possibilities [1.0-1.3.2]

I have Highlighter, mcMMO, MobDisguise, Ore obfuscation, Shortcuts, SpoutBackpack, SpoutTest and SpoutWallet
none of them should use the W for any feature

Please refrain from posting your own .exe, .jar, and .app files here. We will have our own available soon and would prefer not having to check each one that someone posts for malicious actions.

as I use these. I also use Shortcuts but are you sure you didnt add any random shortcuts to the W key?

It's probably SpoutWallet, guessing from the W. I would check with its developer and possibly Shortcuts.

Thanks for the thoughtfulness, but it just adds extra work for us if we were to check every compiled exe or file that is sent our way.

oops ^^
after deactivating some more Spoutplugins (damn, there are to many plugins that added some spout features ) i found the bad one (SkyPlus).

and hours of server restarts i found out that Backpack was the reason for the W-thing.
it got some new features which added some lines to the config.yml. I know deleted the config and restarted.
But the bug it caused shouldn't happen.

There's a lot of fly plug-ins out there, like VoxelAir, SuperPowers, Wings, IBICF etc. but none of them has the smoothness of mods like Zombe and CJB.
Using those plug-ins, your character does not remain still in the air, but instead you keep bouncing and going up slowly and it's not good for building.

Maybe it's not possible to do this with Bukkit like you can with a client mod but ENTER THE SPOUT / SPOUTCRAFT!

Well, I know all the bla bla bla about SpoutcraftAPI, "possible in the future", "don't mod Spoutcraft", all of them but, like a builder I'm begging you Afforess and all the devs to put a fly thing in Spoutcraft, as a gift for builders like me. I need it more than a minimap.

The translations arn't implemented yet, the site exists so you can get a head start.

You have an old plugin that is auto installing BukkitContrib you need to find it and remove it or update it.

Excuse me, I have not read the 131 page of the suject, but I would like to know if you need to add the item /block customizable, and if so, what update? And for the French translation, she will add to the next version?

My only real experience with programming was about 6-15 months with Python before I've had a project in VB 2008 thrust at me for a school assessment task... I tried to work/play with the language for a few weeks before giving up entirely and reverting to asking the teacher for most of the code.. (although that's mostly because I was trying to work with the thing myself when he spoonfed the class), to be fair I'm the only member of my class with any code proficiency and my teacher isn't actually much more proficient than I am since I had to help him with a few things but still...

I couldn't even look it up because the only results that weren't basically blank were for VB .net..

It was so fixed.. so permanent and brittle.. Is it even possible to group tasks at all?, Is there anything that you actually do multiple ways? That isn't redundant? I mean... repeating the same line 9-20 times and changing a handful of characters in the object names is so tedious...

The most basic (in terms of logic) and the least pleasant way of doing things seemed the only option, I mean, even manipulating strings pulled from text files, (or strings at all to be honest) I had to give up on... And for god sake why the hell would you divide something into an array JUST to output it as a string.. the syntax wouldn't even be readable... And dimensions.. dimensions were just disgusting... you couldn't actually manipulate anything, you had to overwrite them every time, and you had to do that as something special and THEN allocate it separately... Why isn't there a method to automate that?!

VB isn't funny, it's horrible

Anyway sorry to rant off-topic but I figure if I complain to someone who is proficient with it maybe I'll get an explanation that shows something I missed..

And a little more on-topic... may I ask the developers on this forum if they think I have enough experience to dabble with plugins? Even if on a very basic level...

Edit: Ooo I see you have your own forum section now. I'm glad the Bukkit team created that forum.. It took me awhile to navigate to see where I might start learning to work with bukkit. And I've already forgotten xD. But honestly until a few days ago I had assumed there always was a dev forum

in the sense of having a working Worldedit inside of Spout that does not cause incompatibility by being dependant on the Mod loader to work
