REMOVE iCONOMY from your server! You folks have no idea how much iConomy was messing up my server and 100s just like it. iConomy was so bad it was creating corrupt data, corrupt packets, resetting player money balances with the newer bukkits. This would give you java hangups such as the infamous "Read timed out" error. Lots of server administrators overlooked the use of iConomy. Over 4 days, and probably 40+hours of trying to fix our server, we decided to go back to the native EssentialsEco. Lag decimated. Server corrupts decimated. There is no reason to be using a plugin, three months old. You may find on smaller server (under 75 players) you may have less problems. But the old iConomy plugins is still killing your resources. Servers that are over 250 players like me, good luck trying to use iConomy. The owner of the server company I use had several server owners remove iconomy and CPU use is cut in a third, RAM cut in half. People are very happy for going to simple EssentialsEco and having their speed back. I thank Niijkokun for creating this great plugin back in the day. But I feel he should abandon the project as it is really creating grief for larger servers.
Stop throwing your faults add Nijikokun, you did something wrong with his plugin not the plugin with you.
There's an update for iConomy 6. One of the bigger things is that Nijikokun is back. iConomy has always been my personal favorite for its classic use and the ability that iC 5 still works up to CB 1.1R4 Have kept with iC5 for the /money top as players definitely like to see that there. HOWEVER, seeming as that feature is finally brought back to iC6 I'm switching over now Also good thing in time for 1.1R5 to be released. Definitely a big thanks to Nijikokun for not leaving the community behind.
Hi there with my server, i set my self at default,deoped and like a normal person(just joined) but i can do this command /money give [name] 2000000. and it works anyone help me
One issue I've been having, and I haven't been able to find anything in the thread about it, is with renaming currency. I changed the values in the config.yml file but when I am in the game it still shows as "dollars". I also changed the setting to show minor and to separate, but it still just shows as the major with a decimal point. Not sure if I'm doing something wrong, but for whatever reason any changes I make to config.yml seem to have no effect ingame. If this has already been addressed somewhere in this thread I apologize.
I set ther Announce (Send a message when the player gains interest?) to true but in-game ther is no message!!! Pls help ?
Hi All Having a few problems around the permissions with this plugin. I use group manager and currently all my users can use is the /money to check their balance. Even as an op when I try /money top it tells me that this account does not exist!? I have tried putting the permission nodes - iConomy.list etc in both the global groups and user config files but to no avail. Any feedback would be much appreciated. Thanks
Hey there, Could you put a money splitting option in? For between different worlds? This would be REALLY useful for my server, and a lot of other peoples (as I've heard). Makes it easy for when you have multiple worlds, so you can have multiple inventories and multiple cash balances, almost as if playing on two different servers. See for me, I have a PVP world and a NON-PVP world, and I dont want the inventories/money to mix. I have a multiInventory plugin, so it would be great if you could add this feature.This shouldn't be hard to do, I dont think. So then players cant just rack up tons of money in NON-PVP and buy tons of diamond armor and stuff, then come back to PVP and pown everyone. They need to be able to do it while facing the risks of PVP. Would be great if this could happen.

ok wow iconomy 5 is no longer working with R5 and you cant convert to iconomy6 from H2 - this is simply not working
it would take 1 day of work but i thought of adding all accounts manually to iconomy6 but if open the H2 db with notepad++ i cant see a clear number (money) for every account. i can use "/money top x" only till 100, so even to convert manually seems impossible - were doomed edit: maybe theres any converter from iconomy5 to boseeconomy or sth similar, so that we could convert from there to iconomy 6 - my last hope
i already found a way to view the database and i converted it to iconomy 6 manually took me about 2 hours for 1000 accounts
