iMonster - The Monster Money and Drop Plugin: Version: 1.7.5
This plugin is designed to allow servers using iConomy / BOSEconomy / EssentialsEco to reward players with in-game currency.
edit the /Plugins/iMonster/iMonster.yml file for configurations.

The old version by ZeroDPS has been moved off into the inactive section, creating a new one for the updated and maintained version.

If and when ZeroDPS returns, and feel like picking up the development on his plugin again, any request to have this removed will make it so.

    !FINAL NOTES!
This will either work for you, or it might not... I feel that I have taken this plugin as far as it will go. Requirements and features can be found below. I will not support or maintain further version of iMonster, have a look at ecoCreature instead.

!!! It is also adviced that the old config file is removed / backed up and that the plugin may generate the old / new one again due to some minor changes (which are vital) !!!

    Features:
    • Configure Reward Currency and Items Drops per Monster.
    • Set Max Reward drop for monsters
    • Prevent MobSpawner Camping
    • Permissions Support ( iMonster.User )
    • Set Reward for killing the Mob Spawner
    Requirements:
    • iConomy 4.4.7+ (for iConomy Support)
    • BOSEconomy 0.5.0+ (for BOSEconomy Support)
    • Essentials 2.0.294+ (for EssentialsEco Support)
    • Permissions 2.5.4+
    • CraftBukkit, 522+?
    TODO:
    • Wait for the return of ZeroDPS.
    Change Log:

    v1.7.5
    • Removed /imonster command, didn't feel like it added much.
    • Support for the three "major" economy systems.
    • Other misc. stuff.
    Download

Yes, it's outdated... copy your settings, let it generate a new file for you and check out whats new ... then see how it works for you

Although that sounds low, it is not completely out of bounds. Statistics are not probabilities. Kill 1000 Zombies and see how it looks, that might give you a better sample set ;)

However, I agree that seems unlikely. ChrisB, Is there any way to get debug info about the random drop value in the console log to get a better idea of whether or not the coins are dropping as expected?

Added: Or just set the rate to 100% and see what happens.

It turns out I had completely forgotten (and didnt read) that the iconomy.user must be granted. just tried the ratio of drops - it seems straight on now.

It's nice to see this back. In the old version I recall there being talk of a death penalty. Is there any chance that we could see that in this version?

@ChrisB having troubles where no rewards are being granted and nothing is being displayed in the console. /imonster was usefule, perhaps you could enable a debug mode?

Working on something new and improved, I might issue some final patches to this or work on both depending on how it turns out. Stay tuned.

It gives money before the mob is dead and it really lags out my server.

Once you kill an animal. All mobs freeze then after about 3-5 seconds they unfreeze.

Never had lag problems before downloading this one.

This is a Bukkit/Minecraft issue, NOT a plugin issue.

    Not a plugin issue.

    Still not a plugin issue.

And... still not a plugin issue.
However, can't really say why animals start lagging on your server.

I'm confused, why is your plugin marked as deprecated?
