[EXAMPLE] Plugin request formatting [FORMATTED]

From my understanding, there's never been an issue with charging for the -making- of the plugin, only the repeated selling of said plugin after it's been made. Sure, that bit has always been in the rules, but nobody has ever said anything to developers until now.

So...it begs the question, why now?

I'm fully aware that it has been policy "since the beginning", I even stated that in my earlier post. I'm just completely confused as to why there was a sudden change of face regarding the matter. This was never enforced until this point, so it leaves me (and I'm sure a few other people, as portrayed by that thread) perplexed. In any case, I'll halt discussion here--and move onto that thread.

 

There was no change in face regarding the matter. The topic linked above clarifies the confusion.


Note: I will clean up any posts to this topic not suggesting better ways to request plugins.
