I get this message on every server i try to join. Even my own. More info: Using latest 1.6.4 build and minecraft. Online mode is true and i've buyed minecraft. I could connect yesterday. I've changed password on minecraft.net. Anyone knows what the problem is? also my friend get same message.
Jocke155 Don't worry, the Minecraft servers are simply down. It is not your issue, it is Mojang's. Best to just wait it out.
Jocke155 Unfortunately I can not support that here. All I can say is that it is very insecure, and you shouldn't use it.

I am able to login to 1.7 servers, it's just 1.6 that gives me that error. Seems a little strange to me considering everything is online at help.mojang.com.
Just one thing, we able to login to vanilla servers and snapshot servers. Only bukkit have a problem.
Could be that the protocol for 1.7.2 changed and the auth/login servers could have adjusted to that causing a glitch with how its managed on 1.6.4 servers.
