SoupBowl - Make soup bowls reusable Version: v1.1.1 Download This plugin fixes the bug where you don't get the bowl back after eating soup. Now you can reuse those bowls! It even works if you have a stack of soup, for example from a plugin's /give command. Changelog: Version 1.1.1 Infinite bowls bug in 1.6 fixed. Version 1.1 Crafting also gives the bowl back. Version 1.0 Initial release
Confirmed to work in 670. Just uploaded v1.1 which also gives the bowl back if used in a crafting recipe. (For example, if you use Cookbook and make a recipe that uses mushroom soup, you'll get the bowl back just as you do with buckets.) Growbie makes mushrooms growable with bonemeal, making mushrooms more common. This leads to more soup, and therefore more bowl use!
Oi, Celtic Minstrel, just wanted to give you some support. My server, Project Framework, is using this plugin. We have our creepers set to drop mushrooms, instead of sulfur, making Ghasts the only source, and this plugin makes it a bit more practical to treat creeper-hunting as a source of healthfulness. Keep it up; we'll continue using this for as long as you continue to update. Hmm, upon mentioning this plugin, one of my members asserted that he had just consumed Mushroom Soup in SSP, and that, when used, the item did, in fact, change into an unfilled bowl. I had him go test it just to make sure. Is this fixing a bug in craftbukkit, or is this plugin no longer necessary? The bug exists in multiplayer only (I believe it exists even on vanilla Minecraft servers), which is why I made this plugin.
This is rendered largely redundant by the 1.6 update; however, since Notch's fix does not handle the case where you have stacks of soup, I'm going to leave this here. It works in 1.6 without an update, but there's a slight glitch as a result of Notch's fix which I will correct soon. Ah, already fixed (with 99% certainty) and uploaded, and in a backwards-compatible way too. EDIT by Moderator: merged posts, please use the edit button instead of double posting.
Should work fine; try it and I'll update the topic? But keep in mind that Notch sort of fixed it in his own way, so unless you like having soup stackable or make crafting recipes requiring soup you won't need this plugin.
