But can't you set disguise for the player who's disguised ? with bukkitcontrib mod ?

It's a minecraft limitation, only others can see you as the chicken
If you would have read up a couple posts, you would have known.

BukkitContrib has a server side plugin.

Wow, thanks! I found a bug I have to fix, but other than that, it's a pretty good plugin if I don't say so myself

I don't know how those modders accomplish the effect of looking like a wolf and a creeper, but they did it. I'm not sure what exact limitations BukkitContrib/Spout will have/has, but apparently it is possible to transform yourself into an other entity in Minecraft SP.

Just installed both jars and when I restarted I spawned in my map but like alone no other players pretty weird happened to all players on the server. bukkit 1000 no errors on log.

Tried to do it, didn't work. Sorry.

I just wanted to point out I think some people are confused about why it plays the mob sounds - the server is sending information that there is a mob there not a player, so the client does it's usual thing and displays it as a mob. obviously as with all mobs it p0lays the correct mob sounds. People seem to think this plugin forces the sound to play - it doesn't, that would require a client mod. I think the video gave the wrong impression.

I have a question though, is it possible a version of this could be made that does not require bukkit contrib? I have no use whatsoever for bukkit contrib or any of its features, but this plugin does what I want...

BukkitContrib dependency is required UNTIL my pull request is accepted, which should be soon.
After that, it won't be needed to support. Nag devs to accept it.

it's the dev bukkitcontrib fault.. i tried the 0.1.7 bukkitcontrib (w/o ur mobdisguise) and works normal, but if i tried the dev bukkitcontrib(w/o ur mobdisguise).. it just let me endofstream
