Inactive [GEN/MECH] ExpBank V1.3 - Storing Experience With Signs, No Database [1.1-R4]

    Description
    ExpBank allows you to store your levels into a sign that uses no database at all!
    How to use?
    Place a sign and on the top line put [expbank]
    Left click to deposit and right click to withdraw Levels.

    Installing
    Just download the jar and drop it into your plugins folder.
    Permissions
    • Permission to use ExpBank - expbank.use
    • Permission to break other peoples ExpBank - expbank.admin
    Configuration
    • CreateCost: 0 - lets you change how much it cost to create a expbank
    • MaxLevels: 5 - Limits how many levels you can put in a ExpBank
    Requirements
    • Vault 1.2.9+
    Download
    BukitDev

    • Work on better protection?

    So in short: This plugin puts all your Exp into a sign for storage?
    Also can people grief your Exp sign? That would be cool.

    Yes this stores exp in signs. I made a little tutorial on my website. its a pretty cool plugin but idk if you can grief the signs yet. XD And I dont think griefing is "cool"

    Good idea i did thanks.

    Theres no way for people to get your experience unless they have the admin permission i have not finished the protection for the signs so explosions can break them and a few other ways id recommend locking them with lwc

  11. I leftclick and it dont seem to store. At least nothing happens. The sign did change color tho

    just put vault into your plugins folder
    did you install vault? do you get any errors?
    what version of bukkit are you using?

    Just update to recommended build 3 man. . . Not that hard is it?

    EDIT: And there probably dated for the R-1 Builds

    they should be fine unless you use spout you will have to update that.

    what do u do if it says its running in another program like to delete something i have never figured that out

  27. So... If I have 5 levels XP and store it in a sign. Will the next 5 levels be as easy to reach as level 1-5 or will it be the same as when you level it up from 5 to 10?

    same as 1-5 im going to rewrite it soon to fix this.

    Perhaps storing the actual exp value rather than the levels would work. That way, if they store 5 levels of exp at level 5, then come back later when they are level 20, it would still only give them the small amount of experience they stored, rather than 5 whole levels worth.

    You could still store and deposit levels at a time by depositing the amount of exp needed to reach their current level from their previous one.
