I run a server where you can donate to recieve Creative Mode, and i'd like to make a sign in the Creative Mode Rules area of my spawn, so that when you click on it, you get Creative Mode. Can you add the feature so that you can use a permission plugin. (e.g: PermissionsEx) to set a group default that can use the sign?

If it's already implemented, i'm sorry! I just looked up the Sign Tutorials, and i didn't see any way to do this. Thanks!

OH MY GOD THANK YOU!! It turns out I wasn't using the proper value. Where "flame" was placed the number "50" should have been placed for the Effect Identification Number. Thank you so much for your help!

Is it possible to make [Buy], [Sell], [Balance] and [Enchant] signs and also /sell command hooked to iConomy? Cos I saw such thing on one dedicated server...

Essentials signs only use essentials commands.

Hey guys, love essentials, been using them for over a year. One thing though, after the latest update people do not have colored chat. I see that I can assign them permissions for colored chat but I do not want them to put in codes.
The way it used to work before that in my permissions PEX file I had chosen colors in prefix and suffix in groups.
Now when people donated money to the server I would change suffix under personal user not group in the same file and their chat would have that color since now on. How can I make it work again. I want to be able to assign certain suffix for chat to individuals not groups like it used to work before with the older essentials plugin.

its the same config settings that worked before. I've tried to put suffix words instead of color code and it shows the word right after the username but if I change the suffix to a color code, nothing happens

have you been reseting your config as u update? cuz there may be some things missing if not

Hi , i'm running 2.9.1.

I added the essentials.help to the default group (Visitor) But when they try to do it it just displays ''You don't have permission''. I tried to remove and add it again with notepad++ and ingame, nothing is working. And in the groups.yml The node is in the group, correctly spelled. What's the problem?

I finally gave up and deleted the old config and had plugin create new one and it still the same problem. If I add text in suffix it shows up right after the name but if I put color code ... nothing happens and it does not change text.

also are u using a $,& or what. what chat manager system are u using to again?

IM using esentials chat and PEX for permissions, nothing changed since I used it before when it worked. I used &6 to give people gold text as a perk. I usually assign it to the individual instead of a group since its a perk per user.

the pex package includes its own chatmanger plugin creatively named that to. I have essentials and pex to as well as essentials chat to. added chatmanager from pex and all my problems went away try adding it if u like

but as admin and owner i can place lava
but my mods can not use it

hi guys i have a problem with essentials great work by the way.
anyways i typed "/pt 0" while i was holding a sword and everytime i click is says "Unknowncommand" i was like wtf
i have no idea wat to do from there PLZ help i want to play again
