[GEN/SEC/ECON/TP/ADMN] Essentials 2.10.1 - A collection of useful commands [1.4.7]

Are u sure theres essentials on that system? The only time u should see that i if there isnt a plugin that uses that command which essentials does. Are u sure essentials is there and working correctly.

I got a problem here, I couldn't find it in any of the 2 Configs but on my server I got iConomy and Essentials.

However when I use the signs of Essentials as Shops players can just keep on buying items even when they have Negative amounts of money !

Anyone knows a solution ? Maybe some sort of Permissions or in any of the two Configs ?
I would appreciate the help.

Gives the player unlimited money ?

I sorta don't want them to buy items from the Essentials Shop Signs when they don't have enough money.
Sorry for being bad at explaining it but it's not that simple

Players can now buy items when they aren't supposed to. They can buy anything and their iConomy account just goes in Negative values.
Anyway to stop this from happening ? I had some other Shop plugin wich did stop people from buying when they don't have enough money.

Best plugin ever, been using it for a little over than 2 weeks.
I am trying to find a solution to something though...

I have World Edit also, and if players use /info they get the permission error cause its trying to use World Edit instead of Essentials.
Anyway to get this to work correctly?

Hey when i use group manager everything stays the same and if I use a command to add me to a group or something etc I get and internal error occurred while attempting to perform this command. Please reply someone. And I'm not new with bukkit, I am very experienced with coding, etc but can't figure this out.

Also there are no errors when the server starts, I need the answer soon thanks.

However, Essentials works best with EssentialsGroupManager.

I have a custom MOTD in config.yml but Essentials does not display it. Is there somewhere else I have to go to enable the MOTD?

Theres an motd.txt found in (/plugins/essentials/motd.txt)
To enable it , Simply give you/someone the node - essentials.motd

I do not think there is any plans to get rid of essentials economy.

i'm using permissionsEX and i have set a group with the permission: essentials.* and i want to disable essentials.kick.exempt and essentials.ban.exempt

HELP! Whatever I do everything stays the same for group manager. I set up the coding using a tutorial and now if I try to add someone to a group, it says it is locked. If I try making a group ingame, I get an internal error occurred while attempting to perform this command. I have the latest java, Mac OS X Snow leopard, (10.6.8) and Bukkit 1.2.5 R4.0. Also, I cleared safari's cache before donloading. I'm working on making a public server, BUT I NEED A RANK PLUGIN FIRST!

I don't think you can give negative nodes to them
The - essentials.* will just override them.

You might want to try adding groups manually , Opening the groups.yml found in (/Plugins/GroupManager/World/world/groups.yml).
Using the format and adding the permission nodes you'd like.
Be sure to scan your groups.yml for errors as YML is very strict.
