After checking the permission nodes for some of my other plugins, it's Jcommands that's taking default. Thank you so much for your help, you're a lifesaver.

Don't know if this has already been asked but, is there any problem with the essentials.chat.spy? Because it worked fine before updating my server to 1.3, and now it just doesn't work

It seems like the latest dev build is breaking permissionsex prefixes/suffix and enters the prefixes in the player tab list.. I don't like that because this is braking my costum plugin for my server....

@LynnJordison works fine for me, what is the problem?
@Ch4t4r how is it breaking PEX prefix/suffix? also tab list colors in a setting in config.yml

PROBLEM:
when i switch worlds my flying disapeers from my creative mode and i have to type /fly to get it again .. this started to happed after latest uppdate of essentials .. is it to be or just a bugg ?

Hi, I need your help with Essentials. I set up jail, created jails and tried to jail one player. When i put him into jail (/tjail) he was imprisoned and /tjail again releases him, but jail effect still aplies (he can't write and move, so even log in). In jail config he is registered as free. Our server runs Essentials 2.9.3 and it is CB 1.3.1-R2.0

hi there!!
i am working with orange451 on a plugin, and its based on the Citizens libraries. basically it creates little fake ppl that you can fight or tame.

problem is, every time it creates one, its creating a player file in essentials. our 2 hours of testing created 1766 player files!! now i admin we need to work on spawn rates, but even so, is there a way to keep essentials from detecting and creating profile??

I have a problem.
I did the command /setspawn builder.
Then I tried to go to the spawn when my rank was builder, but it sended me to the default spawn.
How can I fix this? I'm using YAPP (Yet Another Permissions Plugin)..
Please help

@Mariskaaa try change use-bukkit-permissions: false to true in essentials config.yml, also does YAPP allow multiple group? make sure theres only one group on you.

@necrodoom I already have use-bukkit-permissions: true, and I have only one group on me. It still doesn't work.

to make sure essentials actually gets the groups from YAPP, try set a {GROUP} tag in esschat format and see if it shows correct group.

@necrodoom Lol, sorry if I sound dumb, but what do you mean ? I use the plugins Essentials, Essentials Spawn and Essentials Protect from Essentials, not Essentials Chat

well, i want to make sure YAPP actually tells essentials what group you are, since you said typing /spawn sends to default spawn instead to builder spawn.

Ah okay, now I get it. Do I need Essentials Chat for that? And how do I do that?

esschat is one way to test this, because {GROUP} tag prints the group.

go format, put in {GROUP}. /essentials reload, talk, see if your YAPP rank shows up.

My YAPP rank always shows up, even while I'm using Essentials Chat, I changed the chatting-formats, but if you're a Builder and do the command /spawn, you're still going to the default spawn ;/

this confirms YAPP is being detected properly.
make sure /setspawn builder is being set, exactly as the group name, make sure essentialsspawn.jar exists, and make sure nothing else overrides /spawn (does /espawn and /spawn produce different messages?)

/setspawn builder is set, essentialsspawn.jar exists, /espawn and /spawn are the same commands so nothing overrides /spawn.. Still doesn't work :/ Isn't there a way to add a permission, like essentials.spawn.builder ?

launched a YAPP test server with essentials only, per group spawn worked. not sure what to tell you.
