   Hello,
   i created an itemstack with 1 book and quill. what i want to do now is to set the text of the book and quill, set its title and set it signed.

   dsouzamatt thanks, that helped a lot. but in this interface there is no method to lock/sign the book. have you any idea how i could do that?

   Shmobi If you give them a regular book, (not a book and quill), and set an author, I don't think they'll be able to edit it.
