Solved How to set chat color to certain groups? PermsEx/HeroChat

Try installing EssentialsChat or Colors and see if the problem reproduces itself.

 

If you have essentialschat uplaoded then remove hero chat one chat plugin at a time.

Ok then remove essentialschat, I am trying my best to help. And if you are in a critical mood you could just think of it like this, you get what you pay for.

Which config file? Just delete it from plugins folder.

Delete the file EssentialsChat.jar in your plugins folder.

 

tankfun652 then you are not using essentials chat it is just in the default config file.

Post herochat config.

I am a little unclear on what you are trying to do, are you just trying to color the messages people send?

Why do you need herochat? Also colors would be determined in your permissions file. What perms manager are you using?

Can you list your plugins plz , or take a screen shot
And make sure You have both HeroChat and Pex updated

I know herochat is the best plugin , it's my fav
Btw there is no such node as - permissionsex.* it's just permissions.* , and you don't need any nodes appart from - '*' because that covers all the nodes

When you try to edit a conch and it dosn't work then you remove what you did that didn't work or else it fucks up everything having to do with that plugins function most of the time.
