simple protection plugin similar to cuboid. The first protection plugin on Bukkit.

You must, must must create a protectors.txt file in your server directory with a list of users allowed to use protection commands/bypass protections (one username per line, case sensitive).

To enter protect mode, type /pm.

Then use /c1 and /c2 to set the two corners, and /cadd [username] to protect it.

Use /callow [username] while looking at a block in a protected area to add another username to the whitelist.

Use /cdisallow [username] while looking at a block to remove a username from that whitelist.

Use /cdel while looking at a block in a protected area to remove it.

Use /cstatus to see your currently selected coordinates.

Use /cinfo to see who the currently selected Cuboid is protected to.

I'm not going to lie, i need a good protection mod myself, and I'm far from being a programmer, just saying with it being open source, I'm surprised someone hasnt already taken the code and updated it. I know people have work and school, but there are a lot of people that don't right now.

Really quick, is this based on the "Allow certain people to build in protected areas, but no one else if not added with persmissions?" I know no persmissions are in bukkit yet. Just wondering.

Sort of. Anyone in protectors.txt overrides protected areas.

Well he did say wedsday or thursday orginally so i am hoping for today. not having a single plugin in bukkit that can overlap area's is frustrating.

oh and i found a little issue in the protection. When you protect an area, it seems to over ride the water/lava flow. so no one can place water it just sits in one place doesnt spread. Even if you own the land.

Actually the problem is further than that any water and lava placed at all will not flow. Even when placed outside of the any protected area, even a long distance from any area. It seems it just flat out turns any new placed water/lava into still water/lava

Also I noted, I couldn't destroy blocks, but I could place blocks in a protected area

I dont have the problem outside the area, If your using Guardian as world protect like i am make sure you have
both use and place with the correct names i am not sure why guardian did that. (or you will run into the problem you just stated.)

As for the blocks i am not sure but could be another protection/gurdian thing working against you.
Hope it helps if it doesnt least i tries :D

Since you mentioned you didn't have the problem I went back and tried with just SimpleProtect. It worked fine and I placed my plugins back and it worked fine. Though I also cleared the areas and started fresh this time.

So simply, yea outside of the area I can still place water/lava fine and if it tries to flow into a protected area its stopped

another issue that just arose for me (probably from the updated craftbukkit) but seems /cdel will delete the area until the server reboot, then the deleted area returns. Still playing with this but i have got it to repeat this a every time so far. (build 107)

/cinfo is a command in LWC - it is not a problem it just puts up info for both plugins when used. Thought i'd tell you.

Did we ever find a fix for how it only protects one layer? I put this up and my tower gets greifed.......good thing the floor wasn't damaged though.....

Please switch to a user-editable data file. I need to make several 500x500x128 areas, and it's really impractical to do it normally.

you dig a bit low on one end and stack high on the outside, then create it, works on the basis cuboid did, although presently you can not do sky to bedrock, toggle flags, or overlap areas.

Great plugin! I know everyone is asking for features. but I have one small request. This plugin works for me, multiple layers and everything it should. I'm also using creeperNerf which is great! But there is one small problem. A greifer came in and burned everything to the ground, do you think you can protect against fire?

Any chance you can add support for the new Permissions plugin, since GroupUsers is no longer being updated.

If you dont want just protection, then use Gurdian. Its simple to set up. only downfall to this is you cant seperate water bucket use and lava bucket use, so if you give someone the okay make sure you dont mind them having both.

If you ment flagging fire just for that area, i am not sure how to help you there.

    Awesome plugin. Thanks!

An option to enable water flow would be awesome though.

People that are not in protectors.txt are still able to build on protected Area, but they cannot destroy :x

it would be nice to empower users to protect their own houses. and add user names. but not if the area is protected by someone else.

Is the protected cuboid only on the ground or can't others
    destroy a house or something?
