    MyHome v1.9.3
    Download MyHome v1.9.3
    Download MyHome (Static Jar)
    MyHome Source

    Suggest Features/Report Bugs

Uses Permissions plugin to manage permissions (but is not required)

For simple set-up, give your users 'myhome.home.*'
and your moderators 'myhome.*' (includes myhome.admin and myhome.home.*)

    ...is Basic
Many server admins only want the very basics. MyHome delivers on that, and still gives the speed and reliability of using a SQLite database.

By only giving your users permission to myhome.home.basic.*, they will only be able to use the classic commands: /home and /home set.

Don't want your users to be able to jump home whenever they please? Only give them myhome.home.basic.set.

    ...is Social
However, sometimes your users will demand more. They'll want to invite their friends to their home, visit other peoples homes, and see whose home they can visit

Give your users myhome.home.soc.*, and they'll be able to do all of that.

    ...is Guiding
What's the purpose of everyone's compass pointing to some arbitrary spawn point?
I'll answer that for you: none.

MyHome will redirect your users' compass to point to their homes.

This opens up the possibility for a supplement to a near vanilla experience by disabling users' ability to /home to home, but allowing them to follow their compass back home.

Upon death, users will be respawned to their home point, rather than back to that global spawn point.

    ...is Restricting
You may be a server admin who doesn't want their users always /home'ing out of danger whenever they jolly-well-feel-like-it. MyHome allows you to set 'Warm Ups', 'Cool Downs', or both. You can set this in MyHome.settings. Or... if you don't care about these things, just leave their settings as default, which is off.

Warm Ups are the amount of time that it takes to send a player home after they use /home. So if you have a warm up time of 5 seconds; young Billy will have to evade that Creeper for 5 seconds longer before he's sent home after he hastily runs a /home command.

Cool Downs are the amount of time between which players can use the /home command. In this case, if you have a cool down of 1 minute, and Billy uses /home, he'll be sent home; however, he can't use the /home command again for another 1 minute.

For now, Warm Ups and Cool Downs are global, but once the Bukkit permissions/groups get more fleshed out, MH will have per user/group Warm Ups and Cool Downs.

    ...is Helpful
As an server administrator, your job is tough. MyHome works to make your job a little easier (within it's domain). As an administrator, you can warp to everyone's home. You can also bypass the cooldown and warmup limits set upon your users if you'd like; check in the MyHome.settings.

Transitioning from hMod? Have a homes.txt full of your users' homes? Use /home convert to import that into the MyHome database.

I believe updating MyHome to 1.9.4 is supposed to fix that. By the way, what version of Permissions are you using? I can't get MyHome and Permissions to work together on my server, build 670 as well.

Is there any chance you will make pet wolves teleport along with you? I hate losing my wolves when I /home back to home when the chunk is offloaded (traveled too far)

Anyone have any idea why our admin/op compasses refuse to point to home or spawn? We have 2 ops and both of our compasses point to the same random location.

We run multiple plugins, including WorldGuard and WorldEdit, but our users compasses seem to work fine according to them.

Can't say for sure but possibly it's after the 1.4 update changing the way the compass works. It no longer points to the spawn point it always points in one direction (I would assume North, though that may be wrong). We have the compass option for the MyHome turned off so I can't tell you if it's working on ours right now, instead we use the MyWarp pointer command to make the compass more useful.

Any chance of another good home plugin as this has been messed up some by the CB670?

He's not the plugin creator so he can't update the thread title, he's just been kind enough to update the plugin whilst the creator is MIA. The link is in his signature. :)

Update to the version Spathizilla has created for us to remove the compatibility issues since 1.4 went live.

Link is in his signature a few posts up. :)

Since tkelly seems to still be missing in action and I want to add this feature to my own server. I will be forking the plugin, renaming it (to avoid confusion) and bumping it to v2.

    Version 2.0 feature list:
    * Allowing a /home to be set in each world
    * Allow server admins to turn off the multiworld home system forcing only a single /home.

V2.0 features under consideration at the moment:
    * MySQL support
    * iConomy support to charge for /home usage (could be done with plugins like Command iConomy already)
    * Allowing sysadmins to define world "pairing" for /home (eg world1 and 3 share the same /home but world2 and 4 have a different one). Example: a survival world has a different home to all other worlds.
    * Blocking /home set on specific worlds (could be done via permissions)
    Revenge and SyPi like this.

Crashing my server causing read timeouts. Not sure whats going on as I have this installed on another server and did it a few days back with the exact copy. Everytime I start the server up I get
    Code:
    - Downloading file : http://stethoscopesmp.com/tkelly/lib/sqlite.jar
    23:36:51 [INFO] Read timed out

    And the server locks up.

Looks like it's trying to get the sqlite file and failing to auto download it. Try just downloading it yourself and putting it in the /lib directory to see if that fixes the problem.

    http://stethoscopesmp.com/tkelly/lib/sqlite.jar
Edit, that link wont work which is why you're having problems. Appears TKelly is not only absent from the forums.

Edit 2: Try this one (http://files.zentus.com/sqlitejdbc/sqlitejdbc-v056.jar) you may have to rename the file though to sqlite.jar

I did add it to the /lib directory and it still tries to download the file. I removed everything and tried from scratch, same problem.

Perhaps it always checks for the updated version then and due to Tkelly letting his system go down it wont be able to find it? Try the updated version I've added to my previous post, but if that doesn't work I'm afraid I'm out of ideas.

Seems to work consistently with 670, although I am getting a nag to pass on:

Spathizilla, thanks for picking up this plugin!

I have an idea for MyHome, but I'm not sure how it could be easily implemented. Would it be possible to restrict players from marking their home point point on specific WorldGuard regions? Perhaps MyHome could have a config file with a list of restricted cuboids.

The main reason I ask is because I'm working on a rather long, difficult dungeon for my players and it would be annoying if one of them set her/ his home far into the dungeon and invited players to teleport there. lol
