Ok so im a bit confused. (and where to put this)
So in the Plugin Requests section ive seen Bukkiteers say.
While in the help section it is 24 hrs.
Is it that in the requests it is 12 and the help 24?
I want some clarification and clarity for other members, whether it is 12hrs or 24hrs to bump on either sections or on all of em.

I don't think there's a set time, it's just rude to constantly bump a thread.

I think that's just something that people have been saying and picking up.
In general, it's good forum etiquette to never bump your thread. It's just a bit rude and makes you look childish.

It really is sub forum specific.

For example, bumping your thread in the "Show off your Bukkit server" will cause the bump to be deleted and it will have no effect (your thread will go back to where it was before). However, in the Help Forum, on a busy day, it could easily drop to page 5 in a single day.

I've always taken this approach: If I want my threads bumped, I add value to the post. Value in a help thread would be providing more information. Value in a "show off your server" thread would be to add information about your server. Value in a plugin development thread would be more information as to what you've tried to solve your concerns. These are just some examples of providing useful, helpful and most of all valuable information.

I haven't seen people saying that.... either way what TnT said also applies to plugins. If you do an update, make a new post. If its something else, please don't make a new post.
