Java Speech recognition API???

Would it be possible to implement this:

into a Spout addon so people can say commands and such. I wouldn't think that it be impossible maybe a lot of CPU usage on tbe clients side though

 

Uh.... You'd probably have to do that client-side...

 

Which is why he understandably asked about spout. Though I don't think there's any way to do it, even with Spoutcraft.

As per http://forums.spout.org/wiki/index/ , AFAIK spout doesn't allow you to upload java code to clients. It only allows you to change what it's API deals with (which is indeed quite a lot.), but maybe I just don't know enough about it.

 

Ok well i'll ask Top_Cat to see if this would be possible for me to do then

Ofcourse it is possible with a Spout addon. If you know the Speech API, it's not difficult
