    Setting up a training-zone
    Show Spoiler

Remember: before doing this, run: "/m2xt z t"
    1. First set up two nodes, these should span the zone you want to be able to train in. "/m2xt n 1" and then "/m2xt n 2" somewhere else
    2. Then create the area: "/m2xt c myareaname"
    3. Select the area: "/m2xt s myareaname"
    4. Add skills which are trianable in the area: "/m2xt ad skillname", for instance: "/m2xt ad archery"

    Setting up a sign-shop
    Show Spoiler

    First line: [m2x]
    Second line: skillname
    Third line: xp-amount
Fourth line: will be automatically replaced by "Cost: %.2f", price

If the price changes later (say, archery-xp goes from 10 to 20), then the fourth line will be automatically replaced with the new price and the purchase aborted so that the purchaser may re-review the deal.

    Tricks:
    • -1 disables skill-purchases for a skill, 0 sets it to the default value
    • You can set the default-price to -1 to prevent skill-purchases for all skills except for those with a price set.

Request: Either an NPC trainer or a tie-in to npcx.

Added to todo. Will attempt to create a zone around a NPC where you are allowed to train.

  12. Offline

    Nytemare3701

that works. Zones are much easier than integrating into an NPC plugin.

How about selling XP to other players?
    Or even crazier, renting XP

Sorry, not sure if this is the best idea - that would allow some abuse since it would make it very easy to concentrate a lot of xp on one character and get lots of resources - fast.

Besides, this was made to empty accounts, not shift money around :)

You should add NPC's to do training like DwarfCraft but for Mcmmo. But I dought this is possible.

Would it be possible to get this to work with iConomyChestShop?

I don't think this is the best idea due to some reasons: it'll be harder to purchase the exact amount of xp you want or it'll take a lot of right-clicking and I'm already planning a restriction-mode which forces players to be in a certain area to train a certain skill.

Sounds good but i already had those issues in mind... was thinking bundles of xp for certain prices. But I like ur idea too.

Why is it that when I try to buy something, I lose iConomy money, but not gain MCMMO EXP? Fail.

Hey just an idea, Would you be able to have say it work like a sign shop? So the sign will be like
    [Skill]
    [price]
    [XP]
    [Owner/trainer]

As it stands, I will most likely introduce zones where you can train (I'll probably just make something database-based for this so that I can use it for any mod I make in the future). I'll consider adding a sign-shop.

ah that would be awesome. I was just guna say, you could make a job out of being a trainer that way. If you have reached top XP, you could become a trainer. just a thought. but i like your ideas.

Well, I'm using b617, like in the title. The console gets this Could not pass PLAYER_COMMAND_PROCESS to Money2EXP, and it takes away iConomy money but doesn't give EXP.

What version of mcMMO, Money2XP and iConomy?
If you're using 0.9.17 or later for mcMMO - then it won't work for 617, if you're using 0.9.15 or earlier, then Money2XP won't work because the required function isn't there.

Also, you should update to JK670 since there's a critical exploit in the pre-670 builds allowing anyone to shut down your server.

When giving someone an error-report, please include the entire stack trace - without it I won't know what line the error happens at and therefore I will have to guess what's wrong.

When purchasing xp, it shows the value of your bank account before the purchase, instead of after the purchase.

So if I had 50,000 coins, and I buy 10,000 coins worth of xp, it'll say "Your balance is now 50,000" or something to that effect. Minor problem, but it's a little confusing to my players.
