Im not sure if anyone else is having this issue. but from some reason Falsebook Minecart stuff is not working for me. I all the falsebook plugins stuff in my server " Excluding .chat" i have falsebook.cart.* as a perm ( using PEX ) i have even tried using all the single node's and not seeming to work.

It let's me make the sign's like station and says i have made a station. but when i put a cart on the track and push it in the direction of the station it just rolls over the obsidian block and keeps going. i have even tried putting a cart on the obsidian area and getting in and pressing the button nothing still happen's. I have no error's in my console for any of the plugins i got. so im pretty well stumped on what im doing wrong here.

In 0.93alpha, using CB2060, gates are farmable for free blocks, bridges are not. Players do not have the destroy permission for either. Can someone duplicate this issue or give me tips on how to fix it?

Please use bukkit dev, or jenkins or github... This thread is so insanely confusing :p
Also any ideas on the chunks staying loaded issue - have you found the cause and will there be a fix?

@GeMoschen The locked [gate] signs dont work when players want to trigger the gate. If the player created the [gate] sign, he can toggle it, but the others can't, since the sign is locked. In 1.1, signs was locked and normal players can trigger it. Why in 1.2.3 it dont work?

Also a bug with teh ICs, When I create [mc1110] and [mc0111] signs are created but it dont respond. I need like a server restart or a plugin reload. They're not like instant activation. It also affects [mc0420], An admin placed one and it didnt worked until I reload the plugin. idk if its my problem or it affects everyone. Thanks for the great plugin I ever know since I have Minecraft :)

I been using FalseBook for over a year now and this is the first time I have had problems.

I load on all the plugins except FalseBookChat.jar. When I start the server all is normal and no errors in console.
However, when the plugin generates the FalseBookExtra.properties and FalseBookBlock.properties for each of the worlds they are all blank.

The FalseBookCart.properties gets generated fine. FalseBook itself also is working fine.

Also, another strange thing is I deleted everything and started over again but I could not delete the FalseBookExtra.properties and FalseBookBlock.properties for each of the worlds from my server.

I get "550 No such file or directory" error and can not even delete these from my server at all.
I will have to contact my server host and see if i can delete these files.

Here are the plugins I have on the server currently:

I have used all of these with falsebook before except, Swatchdog and Spectate.

I would aprectiate help on why these files (FalseBookExtra.properties and FalseBookBlock.properties for each of the worlds) are not generated properly, and why I am unable to delete them.

    Thanks!

Nice, but this fix the very high load that falsebook causes ?, because the previous relase caused serious lag on our server, with falsebook we can do 30-40 ppl without 70-80.

I've tried to work on it but I'm not able to test it myself with so many people.

All I can say is the following:
The overall-performance was improved with this release. I'm running FalseBook on my own Server with 2500 selftriggered ICs and we don't have any lags (aprox. 30 to 40 people all the time).

hmn okay, because we run a ton of other plugins also, dynmap, worldguard, nocheat, etc etc, and falsebook takes up twice as much as all of those together.

I tried the nolagg examine thing, and it showed by doing random stuff like breaking blocks etc, than falsebook was way higher than any other plugins combined.

mhh.. FalseBook is technically made of 5 plugins and not one single plugin. Thats why FalseBook uses more performance then a single plugin.
    But btw:
Can you send me your results from the examine via pm? If I could have the timings I could see easier where the problem is and then fix it :)

Okay i did some testing my self, and maybe i found the issue, i did a fresh install and deleted the .db files but they are not recrated an you can still use/build gates/bridges etc,

So i downloaded the bridges.db, and doors.db to folder and rebooted server and this time it lagged.

so is the .dbs no longer needed ?

The .db-will only be created if there are protected brides/doors (the ones that are "closed"). So yes, they are still used. But I will look if I can somehow improve the performance of that part.

well, its a huge difference, i dont have the .db files the examine thing shows that falsebook hardly uses much time, so i dont know exactly what is going on there.
but i could imagine that your plugin checks everytime a user breaks a block if its a protected block located in the .db, and do a db call everytime or something.

    Edit:
Perhaps remove the protection of gates/bridges etc and do so that in order to create a bridge/gate etc that all the material should be placed first, then ppl wont be able to exploit it.

@GeMoschen, well as for the minecart stuff a fue things to report
if a chest is locked it will take from it and place in it
but if a chest is unlocked it wont touch it (LWC)
the [station] seem to be working just fine
and the [cart] items seem to be working just fine
but the permissions for the minecart stuff doesnt seem to be working for normal players, and thay do have the permission for the minecart stuff (Bpermissions)

Biggest feature request is having a "BetterMechanics" style Door/Bridge/Gate - so that a chest is located close that cotains the contents for the door so users cant cheat the system and dupe items. Thoughts?

Has the chunks staying loaded issue which was introduced in 0.93 been looked after?
It causes an insane amount of lag on a server with 200+ players.
On 0.92.3 this does not happen. (I have not yet tried 0.93.1)

Edit: Well trying 0.93.1 - Seems the issue is gone, ill report back if I experience it again though.

I don't really know if the error is gone. This is where you can all help me. I'm not able to see this error since it's not happening on my own server. But I changed some things and it seems that it worked. :)

This is a feature that I will implement :)

Hey woodz, do you have Vault installed too, or do you only have bPermissions? I'll look into that :)

I figured out what the problem is. I tested FalseBook with debugoutputs of how much time the events take and without having noLagg installed and one time with the examiner running. The results are quite strange and it seems that the examiner is doing something very wrong... :-/ (I took the complete BlockBreak-Event from the beginning to the end).

    FB without noLagg:
BlockBreak takes aprox less than 1 ms ms/blockbreak and never more than about 5ms (getting the permissions from the perm-plugin takes about 3 ms by me and FB is caching the permission for 15 seconds to make it faster)

So aprox: 1 ms / Blockbreak

FB with noLagg installed and the examiner running:
Now the BlockBreakEvent take 1 ms 3 to 4 times and then, suddenly it takes up to 60 ms or even more for one blockbreak? Simply not possible and I think it's an fault in the examiner. Here are the logs with the times from my debug-output:

So I believe it has to do with the examiner. I don't know how it is implemented but I think (and you can see) that it is slowing down events somehow :/

Is there a way to implement an endless pulser?
So it pulses as long as redstone is high?

What about adding a "next station" announcement to falsebook cart-station block
(can be written in last line e.g. maybe with "Current station" announcement in the third line?)
