This plugin causes Ice, Fire, Mob Spawners, etc, to drop their respective blocks
if mined with a tool enchanted with Silk Touch.

Features:

• Edit the config to disable the dropping of certain items.
• Permissions support.
• Mob Spawners now persist (If you break a certain spawner and then place it again, it will spawn the same type of mob as before.)
• Block types include: Fire, spawners, glass, glass panes, ice, snow blocks, snow slabs, soil, and silverfish stone.

Permissions:
If dropping of an item is disabled in the config, you can re-enable it for specific people by giving them the relevant permission node.

that's really nice for the ice, but i still dont want to allow people to get mobspawners could you make a little config file with it to change that? :3

You can mine MobSpawners whit normal Iron/Diamond/Gold Pickaxe....
And they will drop MobSpawner

That is incorrect. The server you play on is likely using a plugin which allows you to mine spawners like any other block. This is normally not the case.

Version 1.3 has been released, adding fire to the list of items that can be dropped, unlike the other two, the dropping of fire is disabled in the config by default. Please take note of the fact that this is an experimental function, and I expect there will be bugs. Should you encounter any, please report them here so I can fix them for the next release.

Nope. and on my server i can do that, whitout an plugin..

You obviously have a plugin that allows you to mine spawners, whether you realize it or not. Unless your version of minecraft is one of the prereleases.

ummmm...i dropped this into my plug ins folder and nothing happened. no config generated...nothing....and theres no install instructions...i want it sooo bad...please help.

yes...multiple times in hopes the config would generate....

Try creating the SilkierTouch folder, and putting a blank file in it called "config.yml". Then starting up the server.

i tried extracting the yml...that did not work...ill try the above....weird...all other plug ins i use are easy and work.

Doesnt seem to be working.. The plugin generated the config, I made sure it was set correctly. used a diamond silktouch enchanted pick. ice doesnt work nor do spawners for me. I am running the new CB. 1.1 R1. So thats probably why this isnt working.

i derped....forgot to delete meta inf folder.....my bad.
config did generate, although nothing worked in game...im using the latest recommended build as my host will not support any other. i look forward to using this on my server. and i thank you for making it. now to patiently wait.

This should work fine with the latest recommended build, as that's what I support, does it enable in the console? Do you get any errors?

this is what i get in console....i have made sure all the configs are all set to true....still cant pick up ice with silk touch.
i want it so bad i tried it 20 times. im op and everything's set to true.

Okay v1.3.1 is out, I found a bug with the last update that most likely broke...well...everything.
