Inactive [MISC] ChairCraft v1.2.7 - Seats in Minecraft [1.1-R4]

Wow, if that is true I am a happy panda!
I will update this plugin the day craftbukkit for 1.3 comes out!

it works in 1.2.5 but there is 1 bug. if i sit down and then go away from the chair maybe 30 seconds or more go and then i be replaced at the chair so i teleport back there even if i am another place. can you fix that?

I can't test this properly right now, but it looks right for the player who is sitting. Could anyone try this with CB for 1.3.1? ChairCraft

#1 You can only see yourself sitting normal
But other players will see you freeze
(Bukkit Problem)
#2 oh and i have no idea why the arrow didnt disappear when i reloaded
#3 Sit, logout and login will kick you. Reason:
[SEVERE]<Player> was caught trying to crash the server with an invalid position.
In order to fix this, you have to remove your data file in the world
#4 You can sit on UpsideDown Stairs

will there be an update for 1.3.1?

It makes you freeze and when you go to stand you go into the blocks below

When trying to sit on a chair it sometimes works if not the above error...othertimes when player tries to get out of a chair, they fall into the void.... seemingly bypassing all blocks.. Not sure if that is plugin conflict with zombe noclip plugin... ?

I've been trying out the 1.3.2 version of your plugin and the player appears to be at the right height on my screen and my friend's, however there are a few bugs. When the player that is sat down turns their character in a chair only turns on their own screen; they appear frozen to everyone else on the server. We both keep getting stuck to the arrow until it disappears and can't leave the chair whilst it exists. Likewise, when you're sat down you get spat out of the chair after a minute due to the arrow disappearing.

This probably isn't much help and since I know next to nothing about Java I wouldn't know where to start looking for the right error codes in the server log to help you out, but if you need a server to test your plugin on (you said earlier you couldn't test it yourself ) then you're more than welcome to use mine this is the only chair plugin that it actually maintained at the moment to my knowledge and I don't want this feature to die out completely! Hope this helps.

I know there is a lot of bugs, I just wanted to know if the position was correct for all players.

My players have died from to much standing around ..

They are! I don't know why they don't just add chairs and tables to the game already.

cus mojang suck.. to busy adding stupid lame crap like decorating blocks and recycling the same mob textures faces etc.

very lame if you ask me, but no one gives them enough flak..
I don't know why there still isn't sounds for minecarts, are just ignored in this game minecraft.
I don't know why players still can't edit signs instead of having to break them and redo..

there was a plugin that did it (ie http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/simplesignedit/) but then they wrecked that from working. Now they just sit on it, until one of them pulls the finger and actually implements the functionality needed for it to work.

Are you planning on updating it for 1.3.2 or for 1.4 ? Since the 1.4 release is getting pretty close(its here). Thanks!

Hello, awesome plugin! Unique as I think this is the only one that allows you to sit.
Anyways, the player position is correct and is displayed correctly for other players.



There is two bugs I found though.

Bug #1
When the arrow despawns the player falls through the stair.

Bug #2
Players without the permission can still sit but they cannot stand up.

BTW I used the mod version from post #792.

Not sure if this plugin is active anymore. Been a long time, so someone else has updated and improved this plugin.
