--Mob Arena-- Post Your Arena Schematics

Could you put up a schematic for your version?

(I understand if you don't want to share it with other servers)

I would create a schematic for it, but that world has since corrupted and we lost everything I may consider posting another arena I've made since however.

I have since sourced a few images of it. It's (another) Colosseum, but everyone has their own take on them! This is designed for PVP matches, though of course you could put a MobArena in it too. Images can be found in the spoiler below!

were do you put the schematic in the mob arena folder?

you have to paste it into your map using worldedit

how do you install worldedit

Put the schematic in the schematics folder and then do //load [schematic name] and then //paste

thats my servers under construction.
we wanna build a nice looking arena inside, but not ruin the actaul building itself.

you have to make it in the root of your server profile.

here is my version of arena, edited from a colosseum picked from mcschematics.com with some changes and a lot of work

Code:

- rebuilt the central place, changing the ground from sand to bedrock and borders from stone to bedrock/obsidian.
- added some ruins in the middle to be more arena-like with obstacles, so you can change options to allow block destroy from explosions, without having to care your gladiators escapes (surrounded with bedrock/obsidian). You can edit your configuration to have blocks destroyed from explosions but not from mining
- fountains of lava and pillars of lava  can be destroyed, obsidian/bedrock blocks are placed strategically to don't let lava flows around and help players setting mobs on fire.
- added glass to surround the ring so spectators cannot interfere with the arena
- REBUILT 10% of the stadium cause the original schematic posted was cropped badly on a side
- built a lobby behind a gate (you can find that, floor is made of gold-diamond blocks and there is already the iron block). CARE: there are no signs, as i use spout interface. you have to add them manually
- Spectator default spawn is on the side, the room made of diamond blocks and glass, with leafs on the roof. You can let players go around the entire zone, i think i've closed all possible accesses to the main arena.

it's very big, useful for 5-8 players arenas!
