Umm, yeah I actually remember reading that now. Oops. So then your router is probably 10.0.0.1 which you would then use for your default gateway.
Anyway, so use whatever subnet your computer is pulling from the router now, and set your computer's ip to 10.0.0.10 (<-that address should be within the range that your router would apply but not get taken by other devices on the network)

No, I didn't. Is there a video on how to do that instead of a guide?

It doesn't tell me what to type. Should I type 10.0.0.3 in the IP section under New Info and then just click Enable Static IP?

Port forward doesn't work! Bump! Please help me, I beg you

But still this happens on Planetminecraft:

Is Planetminecraft dead or is it something I do terribly wrong?!
I've done everything correct step to step here: http://portforward.com/english/routers/port_forwarding/Inteno/x5668/Minecraft_Server.htm

    So what's wrong?

Call your ISP. We've exhausted all available resources we have, it's probably a simple mis-configuration, but you'll have to take it up with your ISP.

Or, you know, you could buy a VPS and not have to worry about any of this.

    What's ISP? Sorry, I'm a noobhead.

And I don't wanna buy VPS (at least not NOW)!

This is really frustrating me!! I can't understand what the hell I'm doing wrong...

An ISP is your internet service provider. The technical support representatives there should be familiar with the equipment that they issued you, and be able to assist you with the configuration, if not they will refer you to the manufacturer of your equipment for further support.

Whomever you (or the bill payer in your home) pays for your internet service has a number. If you get a paper bill it will be on there or it should be easy to find on an electronic bill or with a quick websearch/the company's website.

Where you port forwarded, instead of putting 25565 in both boxes, put 25564 in the first, and 25566 in the last. My router requires it to be done like that, so yours may be the same.

Planet Minecraft is not the GOD of port checking , use other port checking websites and see what they say

See where it says port start and end?

Make external port start at 25564 and external port end at 25566

You don't have any Firewall/Anti-Virus software on your computer blocking port 25565 do you? :)
