I hope i posted this into the right area.

Since two weeks we have a little problem with our server. The RAM Usage of our Bukkit-Server goes to fast at his Limit. Before we never had problems like that, but now we have to restart our server every 24h and if it goes further, it can be more as one restart per day. (8GB RAM) Because i don't found out the plugin who are the evil, i hope you can help me with your experiences.

    Server info

    * all bold plugins are plugins that we using longer time and was before the memory problem. I think they can't be the troublemakers.

I think here are so many server-admins that this alone can help to found out, what are eating to much memory on our server.

This link may be of some assistance. Worked well for our server running Ubuntu, I'd imagine it'd work OK with Debian, but YMMV.

Intersting... good to know and i will testing this in the future. But our server don't have a CPU or lag problem, Bukkit reaches to fast the memory (ram) limit.

I would assume the same process could in some way be extrapolated to search for memory hogs as well. Although I haven't personally explored that angle.
