Not even remotely possible. That would require so many client mods...

The closest you can get to real music is midi music through note blocks (which doesn't always sound that bad)

this would be awesome, but i can imagine that impossible. what about doing something with like the record player and custom records?

 

Again, not possible without client mods. The ONLY way is using note blocks.

No.

In things like G-Mod it's possible because the server can modify how the client runs by sending modifications when they join the server. This is not possible in Minecraft. In Minecraft here are very tight limits on what the server can tell the client to do and, believe me, none of them involve streaming music.

You can do this with CustomMusic, but you need to run another software in the background, making it completely worthless for me.
You might as well just tell people to fire up Winamp and start the same song whenever they're close to your house or something.
