Redpower 2 not working...

I recently downloaded a Bukkit port of Redpower 2, but whenever I use it, only a few things work...
Of these things, this is the most important:
I can make Red Alloy Ingot in an Alloy Furnace, but I can't craft Redstone Wire with it. Whenever I try, the second the recipe is right, and the Wire shows up, I get removed from the server b/c of a nullPointerException.

Any ideas?
