Signature rules?

I'm not saying this is the official rules, or rules that are going to be implemented. They are merely suggestions as how they should be molded or be.

1. No "Rep/Like me" in the signatures, if someone thinks you deserve credit you will get it.
   1. Otherwise you look like an attention wh***.
2. No huge signatures, yes we know you like showing off that shiny amazing 800x400 image, but lets be real here. This forum isn't the widest forum you've been on, nor is there that much space in the post area. It distracts from the posts and expands the page length. Lets keep it reasonable.
   1. 600w x 150h image width limit. One image per signature or up to the image size limit.
   2. Links and text are fine as long as they comply with any other rules, Just don't space them out drastically with newlines.
3. Unsure about advertising, In my eyes as long as it doesn't contain any offensive or very aggressive advertising, it should be fine.
4. Try and keep signatures / avatars safe for work. A lot of kids / adults at work use this site. Minecraft audiences are very diverse.
5. Do not use any harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, obscene, hateful, racially or ethnically offensive language.
   1. Do not harass or threaten other members.
6. If your signature contains colored text, it must be a clear and readable text.

Hopefully this covers everything.

The separator between the actual post an the sig is almost invisible. Maybe we should have some darker color?

i think it looks fine, maybe your screen is tilted to a different angle where you can't see the line?

I can see it, but it's so... tiny.

So it looks great on posts that do not fill up the pre defined space, but longer posts that touch the line tend to melt in with text-only sigs

Yeh I sometimes read halfway through the sig before I noticed it wasn't the post any more

Yeah, agreed. I have a smaller picture if mods want me to switch, otherwise let me know if I am within the rules (I think I am).

I think 150h for signature images is pretty generous, but other than that I like this.
