Since Curse forum hosting, I don't stay logged in

    Ever since the forums were migrated to Curse servers, I keep getting logged out even though I have the stay-logged-in box checked.

    A few hours is an unrealistic "stay".

    I've been logged in overnight, never cleared my cache or cookies. I appeared as offline but when I came back to visit, it marked me on again.

    Yes, we're seeing this too. Please bear in mind we are still migrating things over and reconfiguring everything but we'll be sure to fix this as soon as we can. Thanks for the report!

    I personally had no problem with Curse not controlling every little part of Bukkit, but hey, what do I know?

    I stay logged in at only one device.
    Example:

    Logged on with my pc
    Going to bukkit.org with my iPad -> logged off
    Logged on on my iPad -> logged of on my pc.

    But how is it even a problem? You should have copied the forum with all existing settings right? So why are the cookies suddenly expiring so fast?

    That sounds like an incomplete migration and should have been finished before going live.

    Please try clearing all cookies and your cache, logging in and seeing if you encounter this issue again. Based on our tests this should be fixed, but please let us know if this is not the case!

    It seems that people with Chrome are experiencing some weird issue with caching the wrong cookie. I would ask that everyone clear their cookies and cache completely. It has worked for people who were saving the some of the old cookies. We're still doing tests, but we've had success with this in all the major browsers.

    I assume the cookies are just on bukkit.org domains and thus you can just clear the bukkit cookies, right @Telshin ?

    Does the curse migration mean we can use our bukkit.org accounts on BukkitDev now :D ? Hint, we should be able to do that :D

    Or does it mean we will have to use our curse accounts on bukkit.org, because that would suck !

    Correct assumption, but we've seen Chrome bring back the bukkit.org cookie even with deleting. However, we did a full cookie clear in chrome and it worked just fine. You know you are in the clear when see cookies from .bukkit.org not bukkit.org

    They're probably just changing the servers bukkit.org is hosted on. Probably nothing to do with accounts. Though we (I) really don't know for sure :eek:

    The excuse when BukkitDev was introduced was that it was hosted by curse so we had to use their accounts system. It would be really nice to use my actual account ;)
