I think this one can be considered as inactive, since someone else ported it to Spout and the original author redirected us to that thread (SpoutBackpack).

What is the purpose of this? This casued problems with my server causing it to constantly restart when someone opens a chest. It downloaded itself and I have no clue what it does. I also do not know what bukkitcontrib is because it also appeared randomly. Can someone explain this to me?

Now, I think I might be doing something wrong because I have had a couple of issues;
1: I am running my server with the Spout plugin and am using the SpoutCraft launcher but I am seeing none of the features from Spout-compatible plugins; for example, PlayerEditor has NO effect, MyWolf does not display wolf names, and I am seeing no McMmo banners.
2: Whenever I run the vanilla Minecraft client with BukkitContrib installed, I am disconnected from my server whenever I move.

Anything I can do to resolve the issue?

I don't know if you count submissions as plugins. Anyway, this one only needs Spout server side.
