I can't access Bukkit.org anymore. Through sure luck (and browser history) I got in through by using forums.bukkit.org. My alerts page tells me "bad gateway". The main page pulls this up: Using Win7 x64, Chrome
It's partly available, just like the forums. I think it's just completely overloaded by all the people F5ing every 10 seconds waiting for a 1.4 release -.-
I get it once every so often, but I'm not pounding the refresh buttons and such. Just reading threads. Gotta love those A.D.D Minecrafters. Creative and Fast.
The worst part is that when RB gets here, forums will be so flooded that I won't be able to update my plugins here.
Yeah, I keep getting logged out after trying to look at my alerts, or sometimes by just clicking on a thread to load...arrrgh!
I think it's due to a large amount of traffic, everyone is updating plugins to the latest recommended build. Also people are trying to grab the latest builds for their servers. And some people don't know why their server isn't working :/
There are over 2,200 people trying to connect to the website. Cut the server some slack, the average is anywhere from 200-1,000 people.
We experienced a large surge of traffic that we thought we could handle on our temporary server, but that doesn't seem to be the case. It could be an issue with a badly configured server or the EC2 really can't handle it - either way, we don't want to spend more time than we need to on it as we'll be moving soon to an actual server anyway. We apologise for any inconvenience caused and will be monitoring the situation as much as we can.
First PSN, now Bukkit. Come on, 4chan... what do you want NOW?! You already got like 72 million credit cards... pfft.
