    bSpace on BukkitDev
What is bSpace, what can it be used for?
bSpace is a plugin that allows generation of worlds that are "space", empty. Say you want to make a space station and some planets, you can do so with bSpace. We offer you space to build in, you make space really look like space. Freebuild servers can use bSpace to give their players a world they can freely wander around and build amazing space related builds. Survival servers can use bSpace to give players a new world to explore. You won't survive in space for long without a helmet though!

    Here are my problems:

Ok we are able to generate a space world with this command
/mvcreate Space NORMAL -g BananaSpace: planets
That seems to work fine although it always generates the same map even after changing the seed and generation options. Not to mention, the percentage for the outer shell and the center ect, doesn't seem to do anything at all.

Ok secondly, even after messing arround in the config bananspace isnt making a folder for the map specifique options. What we mean by that, is that it's just a vanilla world with spheres and no floor.

Thirdly, the spout options aren't working its not always night and the clouds are always there! By the way, we don't have the spout plugin installed since Banana Space v 1.4 has it by default apparently.

So ya if you could please answer these questions as soon as possible it would be very appreciated! ;)

First of all, you will only get the generator features if you use Multiverse. And planets will change if you delete the Systems-folder.

We are running multiVerse thats how we've generating worlds I.E:/mvcreate Space NORMAL -g BananaSpace: planets
But still doesn't change the fact the "gravity changes you made" or the clouds still being there and all the stuff is still something we can't get working.

"Edit: the /space Command those nothing"

That's because you're using Multiverse. And as I said, you will only get generation if you use Multiverse. gah

I've gone over what's provided in the current wiki multiple times, i'd still like to know what i'd have to do to get a new "world_space" generated with all the features that i've configured in the config.yml, preferably without using MultiVerse since generating it with MultiVerse doesn't make a world with any of the pretty features that i'd like, such as Suit Requirments, Always Night, Generation Preferences, etc.

So i'm basically asking what can i do to get a full-featured space-world like what's being advertised, after i've installed the plugin and configured a world in the config.yml of the plugin and made sure that there are no errors on the console. Or even if this plugin is meant to generate the world i configured. Perhaps this is a noob question, but i'd still appreciate some clarification.

    I have Spout
    I have MultiVerse
    I have Pail
I do not have Essentials (Hate it.)
    Thank you.

Also, nowhere does the forum, or on the Bukkit-Dev page does it provide a list of commands or permissions. Those would be nice to have.

Appear (im not totally sure) you steal the source code of our planetoid-modified plugin, of our old server....

The ICE-Water planetoid is totally equal to our old style planetoid...

Because the screenshot i saw of Ice/water planetoid is totally peculiar of our old code (Cubic inside core, I imagine fill of various resources .. i can imagine because i created it on about end of july =) )

    have you played there?

http://www.youtube.com/embed/VmWcGyfsECw <- Trailer of our server: dated 1 August =) Now explain me why that water planetoid is totally equal to our =) (during the fight sequence there is the water planetoid and our players can agree my words)

At least put also the rings :p

7b. Add the default world to your A)World Manager Plugin or B)Bukkit.yml. Whichever you use works, but you HAVE to use one.

I actually configured this with Pail, and lost the old config.yml in the process. When i did that, it generated the world but i couldn't use any of the /space commands. In order to reload the plugin, i restarted the server. (since there was no other way) The world_space still exists, and i can warp to it, but it doesn't have any of the custom features in the config file.

"world_space" was on the list of space worlds on the Pail interface before i restarted the server. after i restarted, world_space no longer shows up on the list

I know spacing doesn't show up on the forum like it does on Notepad++, so i used a parser a few times to make sure spacing wasn't the issue.

    1) Your wiki link points to dev.bukkit.org, and there is no link to the wiki (but you are told to read the wiki pages).

    2) Is it possible to make multiverse accept the existence of the bananaspace/styxspace world while BananaSpace still manages the world (applying the config options etc.)?

    3) Is there a safe way to upgrade from StyxSpace to BS 1.4?

This is a great plugin, but suffers immensely from a lack of good documentation. Documentation exists to an extent, but it's confusing and vague.

...and I'll also start updating the damn "wiki".

I got everything to work the way its supposed to, finally realized that Multiverse was the problem, so i ditched it. Perhaps you should look into it. It just seems to prevent BananaSpace from generating the space world when its loaded. And if multiverse is installed AFTER BananaSpace makes a world, it disables all of the features.

So basically, dont use Multiverse because it seems to "take-over" the space world, and prioritizes its own features over those of BananaSpace. It just sorta cancels it out. I'm alright though because i just started using MyWorlds instead, and now i can use a full-functioning space world as advertised.

Yeah, so... dont use Multiverse if you're going to use BananaSpace, people.

And iffa, whats the new glitch for 1.4_1?

Btw thanks for the awesome plugin :)

Anyone have feature ideas that don't include "fix bugs"? :p Version 1.5 "will" have custom blocks with Spout(craft) and all, but we need something for everyone.

Well the reason people mostly suggest bug fixes is because for the most part, besides bugs, the plugin is perfect.

But one thing i think would be cool is to attach some kind of flight method or something to the space world, (rocket boots, space ships, etc)((please don't just make it a feather)) and maybe make the breathing rooms more realistic, so people need to make airlocks and stuff.

Oh, and crops in space? maybe make it so that they cant grow outside of breathing areas?

Also, after the initial generation of the space world, it starts generating a normal world when the plugin is reloaded from a server restart. So people on my server complain about finding massive "land-walls" that dont make any sense. just checking if you knew about that...
