Hmm well I like this global feature aswell but since I know nothing about PHP I think @cheese5505 would do all the web part and sure @steaks4uce you could help but I think we could add a local facebook which the server admin can decide upon whether or not the global feature should be aloud? Any opinions on this?

That will also require a crapload jscript, css and designing skills but you seem to know that too.
I would call it "Craftlog" or "Minelog" because you should have a obvious domain and name.
thesocialnetwork.xxx is not very obvious. It could be any social network or a fan page for the crappy movie.
Also from a SEO standpoint it will be probably hard to compete with the results for the movie (unless you add minecraft to the search).
The domains minelog.net and craftlog.net are currently both available. They are easy to memorize and good sounding imo.

You wanna use the Facebook API? So you can add facebook features? Not sure if I get what you are saying.

UPDATES: The local version of TheSocialNetwork will likely not be released until next year. Sorry! We are just too busy, and I going on holiday in 2 days. I'll try to work on it while I'm away.
