Minecraft Server Lag Problem Please Help!

So recently i created my Minecraft server, and just recently i have had friends and other people connect to it everything works fine except the one problem that i have... when i hit the tab key on my keyboard to see how many players are on and how the Connection is. and I have 4 bars and everyone else has 1 bar.

I have fairly good internet have 6GB dedicated ram on the server and am not downloading anything.

I don't know what the problem is! the connection was fine when i didn't have a bukkit server although i haven't tried that recently so don't know. Please help.

 

The green bars beside the usernames represent the strength of the player's connection to the server. Unless the players are experiencing a lot of lag this shouldn't be much of a problem. The connection strength can be affected by anything from your server to the internet connection of the player.

 

It effects them its really laggy for them not for me
