So I wanted to try to create a simple test plugin as my first by following a tutorial ( ), but when I tried to do File > New in eclipse it says "No Applicable Items". Can anyone help me please?

    Here's a screenshot as a bump.

Nevermind, I found out the solution... and how I was an idiot for asking this.

    How did you fix this?

Never mind found the solution too. If you are wondering go to Window->Open Perspective->Java

This isn't a trivial question at all, on all fresh Eclipse installs previously I've never run into the need to open/change perspectives. Thanks for the tip.
